Thanks for inquiring about Referral Group! Outlined below are the procedures for joining:
- Complete the Database form
Please be sure to complete in full and correctly, as this is the form we will be using to input all your information into our computer system. - Thoroughly read the Independent Contractor Agreement and sign.
Have the sponsoring Broker or sponsoring Associate sign the form, if possible. Please have sponsoring Broker and/or Associate's business card attached. (disregard if there is no sponsoring broker or sponsoring sales associate). - Status of License
For New Licensee: Licensee must complete Pass Notice and complete fingerprinting process.
For Transfer: Licensee must complete and sign the back of the Real Estate License properly. Your license transfer will be delayed if you have not signed the license or if the former Broker has not signed the license. This does not apply to those who have been inactivated online by their former broker.
For Reinstatement: Licensee must complete Reinstatement Application (can obtain directly from State or from us) and must also submit proof of U.S. Citizenship if reinstating an unrenewed license (copy of birth certificate or passport.) (See Forms page.) - Membership Fees: Include check(s) as follows:
$100 check made payable to Referral Group Inc. (personal check accepted). This is an annual membership fee. - State Fees:
*New Licensee: $160 (Salesperson) or $260 (Broker Salesperson)*
*Transfer: $25 (Salesperson) $25 (Broker Salesperson)
*Reinstatment - Within current license term: $25 (Salesperson) $25 (Broker Salesperson)
*Reinstatement - Unrenewed license: $150 (Salesperson) or $250 (Broker Salesperson)*
*Real Estate Commission does not accept personal checks. Make all checks payable to "Referral Group Inc." You may submit one personal check for all fees payable to "Referral Group Inc." - Send all completed forms, licenses, fees, etc. to Referral Group Inc. (address at the bottom of this page.)
Special Circumstances alter the procedure as follows:
If your name has changed since the last renewal with the NJ Real Estate Commission, and you wish to change your name on the license, The Real Estate Commission charges a separate fee of $50 for this change. Call us for further instructions.
If your license has not been renewed within the last two years, it may have expired with the State.*
